Michael Connor, dubbed "the
funny one" by his fellow N Crowders, has been funny all his
life. In fact when he was born, his mother could not stop
laughing at him (his father, however, could not stop crying).
He won the humor award in his first grade class and his
stand-up routine headlined the Our Lady of Grace talent show
from third grade to seventh.
In high school, he was
admonished for writing a report on Paul Revere that was
friggin' hysterical. Apparently, Mrs. Giampetro could not
handle a few jabs at the early patriot. Mike contends that
his paper was factual as well as funny and still holds a
grudge to this day.
Mike attended Oberlin College where he was able to make fun of
the school's abundance of hippies with the sketch comedy
troupe called Piscapo's Arm. He has written dozens of
sketches and even taught a class at Oberlin titled "The
History and Practice of Sketch Comedy." On his summer breaks,
Mike honed his stand up at the Laff House in Philadelphia.
After graduation, Mike was known as "the funniest furniture
salesman in Hamilton, NJ." This title made him somewhat
proud, yet more suicidal. So he started looking for a way to
be funny on stage. He found it with the N Crowd. Currently,
he can be seen making the N Crowd look good every Friday at
the Actors Center. Also he teaches fourth graders at
Independence Charter School.

His short films made with The N Crowd and with his friends can
