12 Years of N Crowd Memories!
The N Crowd’s 12 Year Anniversary show is tonight! We have been performing short-form improv comedy in Philadelphia for the past 12 years! In that time the show has seen more than 50 cast members come through. Even if they move away, they always have a place with us when they come back through town! In honor of our upcoming 12 year anniversary show at the Ruba Club this month, some of our previous cast members want to share their favorite memories and what they love about the N Crowd.
Matt Akana
“Pillars! Playing the game in which an audience member completes the sentences – either messing with them when they try to throw us for a loop or when they can’t think of anything and just laugh, every time is different and it’s my job to make them look like the hilarious one in the scene.”
Jamie Glasheen
“My favorite N Crowd memory was going to the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival. Not only was the show very fun. but getting to road trip to a new place with the funniest people one earth turned those people into my family and now I have the funniest family”
Steve Grande
“During Game-o-matic we got the letter Z. Kristen made up a game called “zippers”. The game was it had to be a dramatic tone, and before the game started, the 4 cast members had to pull down their zippers. For the game to end, we had to subtly pull up the others zipper without drawing attention to it. It was one of the funniest moments I had on the N Crowd stage. Really, anything can happen at an N Crowd show. I love that. It’s magical.”
