About Allens Lane Art Center
Allens Lane Art Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1953 to foster community and creativity through the arts in Mt. Airy and Northwest Philadelphia.
Each year, the center hosts thousands of visitors for visual and performing arts classes spanning painting, pottery, music, dance, and drama, as well as gallery exhibitions, seasonal art markets, and concerts and theatre performances on its main stage.
Its core offerings include rotating gallery shows, community theatre productions, a robust summer art camp for youth, and private instruction and workshops that highlight local artists and artisans throughout the year.
